Opened in 2011, Alanya Marina sits in Dinek, just west of the old town, and quickly became the eastern Mediterranean coast's most polished yachting harbour. The Blue Flag basin holds 287 in-water berths plus around 150 dry-dock spaces, hosting everything from weekend sailboats to 75-metre superyachts. A breezy waterfront promenade strings together fish restaurants, cafes, cocktail bars and boutiques, while a yacht club, swimming pool, tennis courts and a spa serve berth-holders. By day it is the launch point for boat trips to the sea caves and Cleopatra Beach; by evening the masts light up and diners gather as the sun drops behind the Taurus mountains. It is free to wander and watch the boats.
