What to pack for a winter Antalya transfer

Antalya in January is not Antalya in July. A short, practical list for visitors who only know the postcard version.

Share

Winter Antalya is mild — but not warm. Days swing between 8 °C and 18 °C, with frequent rain December-February. Pack for "European spring" not "Mediterranean summer".

Essentials

  • Light waterproof jacket (rain is short but sudden).
  • Closed-toe walking shoes (cobblestones in Kaleiçi get slippery).
  • Layered tops — T-shirt + cardigan + jacket lets you adapt 10 °C swings.
  • Light scarf for evenings — the wind off the sea cools fast after sunset.

Skip

  • Shorts unless you are sure of a 18 °C day.
  • Sandals/flip-flops — rocks and rain make them impractical.
  • Sunscreen above SPF 30 — winter UV is mild.

For the Mercedes

Cars are heated and clean. Carry your wallet, phone and meds in a small bag — easier than digging in the suitcase if there is a stop.
