Open-air opera and ballet in a 2,000-year-old Roman theatre
Every summer Aspendos's perfectly preserved 7,000-seat Roman theatre hosts world-class opera and ballet companies — Bolshoi, La Scala and the State Opera of Türkiye among them. Performances start at 21:00 under the stars, with the original Roman stage building as backdrop. June through mid-September.
