The first hour at Antalya Airport sets the tone for your whole holiday. Most travellers waste 20-40 minutes on things they could have skipped. This is the order we recommend.
Before you land (in-flight)
- Fill out the e-visa form if your nationality requires (US, CA, AU)
- Confirm hotel reservation in your inbox (rare but airport may ask)
- Note your transfer driver's WhatsApp number (we send this 30 min before pickup)
- Have €5-€10 cash ready for SIM-card / coffee at the airport
Off the plane — passport control (5-15 min)
- EU/UK passports → e-passport lanes (fastest, 2-5 min typical)
- US/CA/AU → manual lanes with e-visa printout or QR ready
- Russian passports → manual lanes (60-day visa-free stamp)
- Bring exit-stamp side of passport face-up; speeds up the officer
Baggage claim (5-25 min)
- Check screens for carousel number
- Toilets are between passport control and baggage hall
- No need to hurry — your SooTransfer driver waits free
Arrivals hall (after customs)
- ATM withdrawal: Garanti BBVA, İş Bankası, or Akbank give the bank mid-rate
- Skip the airport exchange counters (5-8% spread)

- Walk straight out the arrivals hall (T2 international)

- Currency exchange — at least 2 counters all night
