Turkish traffic law (Highway Code Art. 64) requires children under 150 cm tall or under 12 years old to ride in an appropriate child seat. Reality on the road is far less consistent. Here is how we handle it.
Three seat tiers we carry
- Infant carrier (0-9 kg) — rear-facing, isofix-compatible.
- Toddler seat (9-18 kg) — forward-facing with 5-point harness.
- Booster cushion (15-36 kg) — back-support model for the older kids.
Why airport taxis often skip them
A licensed taksi must legally carry seats but enforcement is weak. Many keep a single cushion and call it a "booster", regardless of age. We fit the correct seat for your child's weight, every booking, free of charge.
