How long is the transfer from Antalya Airport to your hotel? It is the first question almost every guest asks on WhatsApp, and the honest answer is: it depends on where you are staying, what time you land, and the season. We run roughly 40 transfers a day out of AYT, so instead of copying a map app, here are the real door-to-door times we plan our dispatch around — resort by resort, for 2026.
How to read these times
Every figure below is door-to-door: from the moment your driver pulls away from the Antalya Airport arrivals kerb to the moment you stop at your hotel entrance — not just the motorway segment. They assume a low-season weekday and daytime traffic. In peak season (June–September) and during the Friday–Sunday changeover rush, add 15–30 minutes on the longer routes. Night arrivals between midnight and 06:00 are usually the fastest of all because the roads are empty.
Antalya city & close zone — 15 to 30 min
These are the closest hotel clusters to AYT and the ones we can promise tightest on timing, even at the busiest hour.
- Lara Beach hotels — ~13 km, 15–20 min. The fastest mainstream resort strip from the airport.
- Kundu (the big all-inclusive cluster) — ~15 km, 15–25 min. Essentially next door to Lara.
- Antalya city centre & Kaleiçi old town — ~13 km, 20–30 min. Short distance but city traffic stretches it.
- Konyaaltı Beach (west side of the city) — ~18 km, 25–35 min. You cross the whole city, so rush hour matters here.
Belek, Kadriye & Boğazkent — 35 to 55 min
Belek is the golf-and-luxury belt east of the airport, reached almost entirely by motorway, so the ride is smooth and predictable. We have a quieter back road into Belek that saves time on busy Saturdays — covered in our AYT-to-Belek route note.
- Kadriye — ~32 km, 35–45 min.
- Belek centre & resort strip — ~35 km, 35–45 min.
- Boğazkent — ~45 km, 45–55 min.
Side, Manavgat, Kumköy & Çolaklı — 1 hr to 1 hr 20
The Side region is one of our highest-volume corridors, popular with German and Russian guests. It is straightforward motorway most of the way, then a short hop onto the coast road.
- Kumköy / Çolaklı / Evrenseki — ~60–68 km, 60–75 min.
- Side (Selimiye, old town & beaches) — ~65 km, 65–80 min.
- Manavgat town — ~72 km, 70–85 min.
Alanya & Avsallar — 1 hr 40 to 2 hr 20
Alanya is the longest mainstream transfer from AYT, and the stretch past Manavgat is single-carriageway coast road, so it is genuinely slower per kilometre. If your hotel is in eastern Alanya, also read our Gazipaşa-vs-Antalya note below — a different airport may be the smarter arrival point.
- Avsallar / Incekum — ~110 km, 1 hr 40–2 hr.
- Alanya centre & Kleopatra Beach — ~125 km, 1 hr 45–2 hr 15.
- Mahmutlar (east Alanya) — ~135 km, 2 hr–2 hr 30.
Kemer coast — Beldibi to Tekirova — 40 min to 1 hr 25
Kemer sits west of Antalya, reached by the scenic mountain-and-sea road through the Beydağları tunnels. The views are spectacular and the road is good, but it winds, so we plan generous timing — especially for the far end at Tekirova.
- Beldibi — ~38 km, 40–50 min.
- Göynük — ~45 km, 45–55 min.
- Kemer centre — ~55 km, 50–65 min.
- Çamyuva — ~62 km, 65–80 min.
- Tekirova — ~68 km, 70–85 min.
Olympos, Çıralı & Adrasan — 1 hr 15 to 1 hr 45
The boutique, low-rise end of the coast beyond Kemer. The final descent to Çıralı and Adrasan is a narrow winding lane, so the last few kilometres always take longer than the distance suggests.
- Olympos / Çıralı (Chimaera fires area) — ~80 km, 1 hr 15–1 hr 30.
- Adrasan — ~95 km, 1 hr 30–1 hr 45.
The far west — Kaş & Kalkan — 2 hr 45 to 3 hr 30
These are long, beautiful coastal drives and our most-underestimated routes. Guests often assume "it is the same province, so it is close" — it is not. For these we send a comfortable Eco Van or V-Class, schedule a comfort stop, and always pad the timing.
- Kaş — ~190 km, 2 hr 45–3 hr 15.
- Kalkan — ~210 km, 3 hr–3 hr 30.
Antalya (AYT) vs Gazipaşa (GZP) for the east coast
If you are staying in eastern Alanya, Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP) can be only 30–45 minutes away versus nearly two hours from AYT. Fewer airlines fly into GZP, so most guests still land at Antalya — but if you can choose your flight, the airport you pick changes your transfer time more than anything else. We cover both airports, so ask us which makes sense before you book your flights.
What actually changes your transfer time
The headline number is the baseline. Five things move it on the day:
- Season & day of week — peak-season Saturdays (the big changeover day) are the slowest; quiet weekday mornings the fastest.
- Time of arrival — a 03:00 landing on empty roads can beat the daytime figure by 15–20%.
- Number of stops — a supermarket stop or a second drop-off adds real minutes; tell us in advance so we plan for it.
- Vehicle & group size — a Sprinter for a large group loads and unloads slower than an Eco Van for a couple.
- How fast you clear the airport — passport control and baggage can add 20–60 minutes before the drive even starts, especially when several wide-body flights land together. Your driver waits free; we track your flight live.
Distance vs time — why kilometres lie
Two resorts the same distance from the airport can be 40 minutes apart in real driving. Belek at 35 km is nearly all motorway and runs ~40 minutes; the equivalent distance on the winding Kemer or coastal Side roads takes noticeably longer. This is why we quote time, not distance — and why a transfer should be priced as a fixed door-to-door fare, not by a meter that punishes you for traffic you did not cause.
