Emirgan Park (Emirgan Korusu)

Emirgan Park (Emirgan Korusu) is one of Istanbul's largest and best-loved green spaces: roughly 47 hectares of centuries-old trees, ponds, flower beds and picnic lawns spilling down a hillside above the Bosphorus in Sarıyer. Once an Ottoman imperial grove, it preserves three restored 19th-century pavilions — the Yellow, Pink and White Köşks — which today serve as charming café stops with garden terraces. The park is the star of the Istanbul Tulip Festival each April, when millions of tulips are planted in sweeping patterns and the slopes turn into a sea of color; the rest of the year it draws joggers, families and photographers seeking Bosphorus views framed by ancient pines and plane trees. Entry is free and the gates are open from early morning until late evening. Emirgan lies about 39 km by road from Istanbul Airport (IST). SooTransfer brings you straight there or to your Sarıyer hotel in a private vehicle: meet-and-greet with a name board, live flight tracking, child seats on request — and your driver can wait while you stroll, then continue to Rumeli Hisarı or the Sakıp Sabancı Museum next door.
