Şuraya Özel TransferKarain Cave
Turkey's longest-inhabited cave — 500,000 years of human habitation, with a small archaeological museum.
Karain Cave
Karain Cave (40 km north of Antalya in Döşemealtı district) is the oldest continuously inhabited site in Turkey — flint tools, fossilised human teeth and animal bones spanning 500,000 years from Paleolithic to Roman times. The 30-m-deep cave has 7 chambers; visitors walk into the first 3 with a guide. A small site museum displays the original finds. Combine with Termessos for a half-day "old caves and high citadels" tour.
