İncekum literally means "fine sand," and this Avsallar gem more than earns its name. Roughly 25 km west of Alanya, it stretches about a kilometre of soft, golden powder that shelves so gently into the sea that the warm, clear turquoise water stays shallow far from shore. Fragrant umbrella pines from the İncekum Forest run almost to the waterline, throwing natural shade and giving the bay a calm, green, almost Mediterranean-island feel that the busier city beaches simply can't match. It's a dream for families with small children, nervous swimmers and anyone who wants gentle paddling rather than crashing waves. Add cafes, water-sports stations, picnic and barbecue zones under the trees, and you have one of the Antalya coast's most relaxed, genuinely beautiful stretches of shoreline.

İncekum sits in Avsallar, about 110 km east of Antalya Airport along the coastal D400 — roughly a 1h40–1h50 drive depending on traffic. Yes, if your flight allows it. Gazipaşa–Alanya Airport is only about 65–70 km from İncekum (around 1h15 by road), versus ~110 km from Antalya Airport. We serve both — a private transfer from Gazipaşa is shorter and usually a bit cheaper. Tell us your arrival airport when you book and we'll quote the best option.
Public buses and dolmuş run along the coast but mean changes, luggage hassle and long waits, especially with children. Metered taxis for 110 km can be pricey and unpredictable. It's one of the best on the whole Alanya coast for families. The sand is soft and fine, the water shelves very gently and stays shallow and calm a long way out, and there's natural pine shade plus picnic areas just behind the beach. Showers, changing cabins, toilets and cafes are all on-site.
Access to the public sand and sea is free. If you want a sunbed and umbrella, local operators charge roughly €8–15 per set for the day. Water sports, food and drinks are extra — bring some cash, as smaller vendors don't always take cards.
