Lara Beach

Lara Beach stretches for roughly 12 kilometres of soft golden-grey sand along Antalya's eastern shore, in the Lara and Kundu districts. Its western section is a free public beach park backed by a palm-lined promenade, while the eastern stretch is fronted by a glittering row of five-star themed resorts. The sand is fine and the seabed shelves gently, so the clear, calm Mediterranean is ideal for families and easy swimming. Lara holds Blue Flag status for its water quality and facilities, and beach clubs rent sunbeds, parasols and water-sport gear. With the Lower Düden Waterfall tumbling into the sea nearby, it is one of the city's most photogenic and accessible coastlines.
