Blue Flag sand, pine-scented shade and clear Mediterranean water — Side's calmest resort beach, made easy to reach.
Sorgun Beach is the green, grown-up side of Side — a Blue Flag stretch of roughly 2.2 km where fine golden sand meets small pebbles and the Mediterranean glows clear turquoise. What sets it apart is the cool pine forest pressing right up to the shore near Titreyengöl, so you get natural shade and that resin-and-sea scent you won't find on the open beaches further west. It's lined with polished all-inclusive resorts (Voyage, TUI Blue Akra, Ali Bey and more) yet still has a relaxed, uncrowded feel, especially on the public Sorgun Halk Plajı end. Calm, gently shelving water and on-duty lifeguards make it genuinely family-friendly, while jet skis, parasailing and boat trips keep the active crowd happy. Close to ancient Side and Manavgat, it's a beach worth the drive.

Sorgun sits about 68 km east of Antalya Airport (AYT), roughly a 70-minute drive. The simplest option is a SooTransfer private transfer: your driver meets you in arrivals, helps with bags and takes you straight to your hotel or the beach. A private round-trip for a car runs around €95–115 depending on vehicle and group size, with free flight tracking and a wait-and-return service for your departure.
A private transfer is the easiest: fixed price, door-to-door, no waiting and child seats on request. Local taxis can match the time but meters and tourist rates make the fare unpredictable. The Havaş bus to Manavgat plus a dolmuş to Sorgun is cheapest but slow (90+ minutes with stops and a transfer) and awkward with luggage. For families or groups, SooTransfer is usually the best value and the least stress.
Yes — the public Sorgun Halk Plajı is free to enter with free parking. You'll find showers, changing cabins, toilets, lifeguards, beach bars and restaurants, plus sunbeds and umbrellas to rent for roughly €8–15 a set. Resort sections of the beach have their own loungers and pricing.
Very. The water is calm and shelves gently, lifeguards are on duty, and the pine forest behind the sand gives natural shade for breaks out of the sun. It's quieter and greener than many Side beaches, which families tend to prefer. Pack water shoes for the pebbly patches.
Absolutely. We offer wait-and-return and multi-stop trips, so your driver can hold the car while you explore ancient Side, Manavgat waterfall or Titreyengöl lake and then take you back. Just tell us your plan when booking and we'll quote one clear price for the whole day.
