What TÜRSAB D-12490 means
TÜRSAB is the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies. A D-class licence (D-12490 in our case) authorises a company to operate inbound tourist transport in Turkey. The licence requires proof of insurance, vehicle inspection, driver background checks, and a registered business address.
How to verify before booking
- Ask for the TÜRSAB number — legitimate companies display it on their site
- Confirm the company has a registered business address (ours is in Antalya)
- Look for branded Mercedes vehicles, not unmarked cars
- Check that the company answers WhatsApp before booking, not just after
