No — surprisingly AYT and GZP are similar from Side. AYT has many more flight connections; GZP is calmer for arrivals.

Is the Apollo Temple lit at night?

Yes — there is gentle floodlighting after dusk. Best photo light is the 30 minutes either side of sunset (no flash, no extra lights).

Can we visit Side old town in our hotel transfer?
