Galataport is Istanbul's cruise home: a 1.2-km rebuilt waterfront in Karaköy where liners berth at the world's first underground cruise terminal, directly beneath a promenade of restaurants, shops and the Istanbul Modern museum. For cruise passengers it is the single most transfer-critical address in the city — embarkation days run to fixed ship deadlines, and the terminal sits in one of Istanbul's busiest traffic pockets.
