Galataport Cruise Terminal

Galataport is Istanbul's cruise home: a 1.2-km rebuilt waterfront in Karaköy where liners berth at the world's first underground cruise terminal, directly beneath a promenade of restaurants, shops and the Istanbul Modern museum. For cruise passengers it is the single most transfer-critical address in the city — embarkation days run to fixed ship deadlines, and the terminal sits in one of Istanbul's busiest traffic pockets. A SooTransfer private car meets your flight at IST or SAW, tracks delays, helps with cruise luggage and drops you at the terminal's vehicle access with time to spare; on disembarkation days the driver waits at the exit with a name sign. The drive from Istanbul Airport is about 47 km, roughly 60 minutes outside rush hour.
